The Gestão do Futuro in São Paulo made a spectacular debut, with the public anxious to encounter the innovative format of our event: REK – relationship, entertainment and knowledge. The 2,500 attendees were received with a welcome coffee, listening to a Jazz group. The meeting was opened by the Família Lima, singing the National Anthem and counted on the presence of Master Ram Charan, talking about “Innovation” and “Business Leadership”. With the characteristic calm of Hindus, he walked among the audience during his talk, he challenged the public with questions and drew their attention to the strategic concepts of the business world. Next, Steve Forbes discussed the global economy and proved to be very well versed in Brazilian economics. He situated the giant “China” in relation to the emergent economies. At the end of the night, there was an unprecedented concert from Milton Nascimento and Gal Costa, singing in duet. The public – mostly executives – could not sit still, and at various moments they stood from their chairs and danced to classics like "Maria, Maria", "Coração de Estudante" and "Desafinado". After the concert, a cocktail was served to everyone, and the event’s atmosphere allowed for some relaxation and networking among the executives.
