Back in 2002, the Gestão do Futuro organizers went to Italy, to bring to Belo Horizonte the controversial thinker Domenico de Masi. It was right there and then that the largest business rite in the city of Belo Horizonte was being born. After Domenico, still in 2002, we had Henrique Meirelles, Washington Olivetto and, closing the first year of the event, Alvin Toffler.

Gestão do Futuro started 2003 with even greater horizons, expanding to the city of Campinas. On May 28, Tom Peters went up the stage at Palácio das Artes. Belo Horizonte also received Maria Sílvia Bastos, Ivo Pitanguy, Nizan Guanaes, Joãosinho Trinta, Henri Reichstul, Nicholas Negroponte and Henrique Meirelles. In Campinas, we had Maria Sílvia Bastos, Domenico de Masi and Ricardo Semler, broadening the prestige of both cities.

In 2004 we had 10 meetings, 5 in Belo Horizonte and 5 in Campinas with talks by Al Ries; Deepak Chopra; Garry Kasparov; Luiza Helena, Bernardinho and Constantino Júnior in a triple talk round; and Alvin Toffler to close the series. In Campinas, we had all these speakers, except for Constantino Júnior and Luiza Helena who yielded their places to the President of the Brazilian Central Bank then, Henrique Meirelles.

In 2005, Gestão do Futuro, held in Minascentro, in the city of Belo Horizonte and at the Royal Palm Plaza Hotel, Campinas, offered the public renowned personalities, such Abílio Diniz, Ricardo Semler, Alberto Saraiva, Chieko Aoki, Tom Peters, Frei Betto, Domenico de Masi, Scott Bedbury and Whashington Olivetto.
In the year of 2007, Gestão do Futuro went to the Brazilian economic center – São Paulo, with Ram Charan and Steve Forbes to talk to a public of more than 3,000 spectators. The night was topped off with concerts from Gal Costa and Milton Nascimento.
